Health and Wellbeing Hub Construction Commences
Kingston & the Corless Family alongside Bellarine Community Health (BCH) are excited to see construction on the BCH ‘Health and Wellbeing Hub’ on Goodwell Drive commence. Loaram Constructions was announced as the construction partner, who worked with BCH on the successful completion of their Portarlington site redevelopment last year.
“The hub will provide the Bellarine community equitable access to quality health services and supports and enhance our capacity to engage with children, young people, and their families,” says BCH CEO Garry Ellis.
The new purpose-built hub, situated on Goodwell Drive, is being constructed on land donated by Kingston Ocean Grove, on behalf of the Corless Family.
The Ocean Grove Health and Wellbeing Hub aims to provide our community with equitable access to quality health services, emphasizing inclusivity. The facility will house a multi-disciplinary team of health professionals. The hub is designed in two stages. Stage one of the project will feature contemporary assessment, therapy, and sensory spaces, along with outdoor therapy areas and group rooms designed for children.
Construction for stage 1 is expected to conclude by the end of August this year.
